To accompany his performance of Mussorgskys Pictures at an Exhibition, concert organist Martin Setchell invited New Zealands leading colourist, Philip Trusttum, to create a corresponding series of paintings. The resulting collaboration performance of Pictures at an Exhibition was first given at the Christchurch Town Hall on May 31, 2003.
Now you can win a DVD of that magical evening - Hear Mussorgskys colourful music on the mighty Rieger organ while absorbing Trusttums compelling interpretations of each picture. Also see close-ups of the organist in action, and rare footage of the interior of the organ. |
All you have to do is to solve this simple word puzzle:
Find the letter that is missing from the pairs of words in the two left columns, put them in the corresponding empty square in the right-hand column. When completed, you should have letters that spell, from top to bottom, a stop on the Rieger organ in Christchurch Town hall. Where there is a choice of the completing letter, you have to decide which is best! Once finished, click the submit button.
All correct answers will go in the draw to win the DVD of "Pictures at an Exhibition". The competition will close on April 21 and winners will be notified by email (so make sure you have put in your correct address) . Anyone, anywhere, is welcome to enter.
