This
composite view of the three levels from Schwellwerk at the top, through
the Hauptwerk, and down to the pedal division shows the spaciousness
of the case, although there are many pipes yet to be put in place. |
Welcome
to the website of the Rieger

The
four Rieger craftsmen responsible for the installation: (from left):
Armin Schwendinger, Dominik Maetzler, Georg Pfeifer, and Thomas Hayden.
All have returned home except for Dominik who remains to help with
the tuning and voicing. |

For
centuries organ builders have signed their work. In the 20th century
they can now also add their passport photos. |

The
vital work of tuning and voicing is now in the hands of Klaus. It
is possible to voice about only one rank a day. |
